One of the reason for this blog is sourcing all kinds of social/conscious/goodness from any corner of the planet, this can be old or new and will warrant a presentation on this channel.

The Niyat a hip hop collective, fall into this mould and on research discovering bits of information here and there, hip hop veterans! and where has one been, I don’t know [laughing out loud].

Niyat consists of three entities, Khalif aka (Synato Watts), D-ology aka (Dr.Mindbender) and Snap aka (ClayRed), all been in the game since the early 90s with projects such as (The Poetic Souls, Darkside, Plifedis, The Psyco Ward and The POC movement) which never moved…. [laughing out loud], now they’re together with the Niyat (Intentions) to bring forth good intent music to whom ever listens… the grind continues.

Brothers Niyat are on some good hip hop, releasing Raxus Prime Mixtape via RappersIKnow in 2009, but for me this track “Do’s and Dont’s“, poignant words and classy production = Quality.
