The gentleman that put on wax and uttered “the revolution will not be televised” a sentence and words steeped in the stable psyche of music, the poet & social commentator and musician into question, you guess right… the legendary Gil Scott-Heron. A brother has been in hiatus for a while longer but caught in the net by the BBC Newsnight for an interview and short documentary of sorts.

Moving on from this interview Gil Scott-Heron is set to release a new album entitled “I‘m New Here“ via XL Recordings in February 2010, “Where Did The Night Go” is a number of this soon to be released effort and looks promising.
