Fola is a rising star on the UK soul scene, i came across the sister recently and the sleeper hit Phenomenal Woman inspired by the poem by the infamous poet extraordinaire Maya Angelou with its positive message.

Its on that chilled, laid back, smooth vibe that in some quarters is got either right or wrong, Phenomenal Woman is in the former category, play this in the lounge, car in traffic, at your yard, friends and family together etc.

A musical gem worth rewinding and replaying and if this is anything to go by, then the album when released will be a phenomenon.

The UK has definitely got a soul talent to be proud of, in the mold of your Omar’s, Mica Paris’s, Lynden David Hall (RIP) and may Fola star keeping shinning, ladies and gentlemen have a butchers at Fola and let it be known.
