When it comes to recent hip hop music its errmm pretty male dominated, then again it has always been this way or may be there is/has all this while haven’t broke through the ceiling, the sister MC especially conscious ones you know in the realm of Monie Love, MC Lyte, Queen Latifah, Bahamadia, Mystic to name a few.

Carrying the touch is the sister Eternia (Silk-Anne Semiramis Dawn Craig Kaya) a rapper and Canadian native and may i add Canada is producing some talent like songstresses Melanie Fiona, Ayah, producer Marco Polo, rapper/poet K-Os. Anyway a side track to track back to Eternia.

When Eternia raps there is no doubting the cut throat lyrical flow, so poetic on important subjects well she was a poet at one stage and puts some of today’s male MC’s to shame, be it piercing through the speakers or live on stage it seems and the energy she brings, got to give a sister her props and dues for sure.
