The first series of the TV show Dexter, has just completed airing in America. This show is an engrossing and cripping tale of a guy called Dexter (Michael .C. Hall – Six Feet Under) whose works as a forensic specialist in the Miami Dade police department during the day and a plies his craft as a serial killer at night.

There is a twist though he does not go on random killing sprees putting fear into the community, Dexter is cool, a professional of the highest caliber, calm and calculated: killing not innocents but other serial killers (bad guys who got away with sadistic acts) – serving INDIRECT JUSTICE.David Bianculli of the New York Daily News, It’s bold, different and exciting, with a central character and performance that take your breath away.

Maureen Ryan of the Chicago Tribune said, To deny yourself the engrossing “Dexter” based on its subject matter would be to miss out on one of television’s most fiendishly intelligent new dramas.

On watching the first series of Dexter not only has got a well thought lead character but also top cast of individuals that do the show justice, the second series can not come soon enough, a quality TV drama show for adults adapted from Jeff Lindsay’s novel “Darkly Dreaming Dexter”.
