Starting with the famous speech of Malcolm X which gives the title to it, 'Democracy is Hypocrisy' recalls the Afro-American fight for equal rights and justice and expresses its strong appeal through an eventually soul contaminated beat.

The video was shot in Naples, Ras Tewelde's hometown, and show us some significative locations, such as the N.A.T.O military base, reminding us that the system we are living in is based upon a critical contraddiction: a democracy not paying attention to the people and not respecting basic human principles of morality.

RO.A is not your every day, ordinary rap artist. In an era where the majority of artists are pretty much formulated, RO.A stands out as a real one of a kind. At first glance, towering at 6'4" you would not assume that RO.A was a rapper/producer/songwriter, but with his embrace of his Nigerian culture, trademark PEER*D shirt, colorful style, wit, and laid back persona, he brings a uniqueness that your average music listener can embrace and relate to. Residing in Atlanta, RO.A dropped his first mixtape on August 22nd called Lowkey Famous Hosted by DJ ILL WILL.

Though he is best known for pitching in with his production team called The Outsyders (who produced the smash hit Brittany Spears’ Womanizaer), he is now self efficient; putting in tremendous amount of work and determination to step out from behind the shadows.

Master P has a few questions for those who have been coming out of nowhere with the love and admiration for Whitney Houston, and he makes some very valid points. Check out his editorial below:

We come from nothing. Nobody is perfect. But once you become a star, they never truly recognize you until you are dead. Whitney Houston had an amazing funeral. What a supporting cast of stars, politicians, community leaders, and business execs that attended and shared their love. But where were they when she was alive?

I’m asking the world some questions, and I just want you to think about what I’m saying. Maybe some of you asked the same questions.

  • If Whitney was alive and had a birthday on February 18, 2012 instead of a funeral, how many celebrities would have showed up?
  • Do you think Kevin Costner would have made time and said half of the nice things he said while Whitney was alive?
  • With all of the money Whitney made for Arista Records, if she asked for some financial assistance to help put Bobby Kristina through college, do you think they would have helped her?
  • With everything Whitney had been through and overcome, if she wanted to do a program to help girls, what TV stations would have aired it as quickly as they aired her funeral?
  • Now they call Whitney a Legend, the Greatest, the Voice. How many told her that while she was alive?
  • If Whitney were alive, how many of us would be waiting to see and support the upcoming movie, Sparkle?
  • If Whitney were alive, would the Grammy’s have paid the same attention to her?
  • Radio stations are playing Whitney’s music, her videos are in rotation, people are buying her albums, but who are the ones truly benefiting from it now?
Some say Clive Davis was her best friend. Just for the record, I’ve been in the music business for over 20 years. You are never friends with the people who are cutting your checks, because they’re always trying to figure out how to not pay you or pay you at the last minute.
We should give people flowers while they’re alive. They can’t do anything with them when they’re gone.

Controversial Rap collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All has announced their UK tours next spring!!

Currently in the middle of an extensive Tour of the states, Tyler and co will be returning to the UK for three shows starting March 2012 starting in Birmingham 02 Arena on 28th March, London 02 Arena 29th March and finally heading up north to Manchester Academy on the 31st March.

A man sat at a metro station in Washington DC and started to play the violin; it was a cold January morning. He played six Bach pieces for about 45 minutes. During that time, since it was rush hour, it was calculated that 1,100 people went through the station, most of them on their way to work.

Three minutes went by, and a middle aged man noticed there was musician playing. He slowed his pace, and stopped for a few seconds, and then hurried up to meet his schedule.

A minute later, the violinist received his first dollar tip: a woman threw the money in the till and without stopping, and continued to walk.

A few minutes later, someone leaned against the wall to listen to him, but the man looked at his watch and started to walk again. Clearly he was late for work.

The one who paid the most attention was a 3 year old boy. His mother tagged him along, hurried, but the kid stopped to look at the violinist. Finally, the mother pushed hard, and the child continued to walk, turning his head all the time. This action was repeated by several other children. All the parents, without exception, forced them to move on.
